2012 Ascension Journey Into the Heart Meditations

“2012 Ascension” “Heart Meditation”
As 2012 and ascension approaches there will be many things collapsing around us between now and this great event. These things must happen. Broken systems and belief patterns that aren’t working need to fall by the wayside. Anything not based in love, for yourself, for your fellow man and for the planet and all its creatures will fall away. It is happening as you read this. Anything not based in love will not survive.
NOW is the time to open your heart and open yourself to love energy.
This is from Carolyn Evers’ beautiful channeling of Mother Mary about ascension and it is a very powerful message about the heart and love that I wanted to share:
“There are three aspects of the heart structure that involve love. One is the beating heart itself, the second is the heart chakra and the third is the heart mind. These three structures comprise the heart structure which is necessary to give and receive love to the fullest.
The dark understood that this was of great importance to the development of the soul and very early in humanity’s existence, the dark wove its nefarious web in order to shut down this composite center. This was done through the emotions of shame, feeling LESS THAN and lastly being dominated and controlled in their (humanity’s) belief patterns and other forms of abilities.
This has been a tool of the dark for eons as they understood that to prevent humanity from living joyfully and being able to connect with the light of God’s love, it was necessary to shut down the love center. And once this was shut down it became difficult to open up the heart to love again.
I see the progression of Ascension to open first the love center to give yourself completely to your God and to be in service to humanity in general and support the health of your planet Earth.
This is the pattern of awareness of what is around you. I feel that you cannot become cognizant of the longer path if you cannot become aware of what is around you now. It is these day to day activities that are the seat of power and progression in the present. Therefore your energies must be aligned with God’s energies and those energies are love.
If one cannot love then one is lost to the process of ascending to the next higher dimension as it is the vibrations of love that will allow entry into the next higher dimension. I call that a checkpoint where the dark cannot enter. You might consider this the 5th dimension.
We consider this the angelic realm and it supports your future in the near term. Each dimension has the support of beings in a higher dimension. That is a law which is universal. No-one is an island so to say. Each owes their support and guidance to beings more advanced and developed than them. That also is a law that is universal. When Source created all of their works, they created a world of cooperation and understanding for all life. It is the way.”
One of the ways we can start to open the heart is through meditation and consciously focusing on opening the heart. Here is the first of two heart meditations. This meditation was developed by Atisha, a Tantric master from Tibet. It is also available as a guided meditation on CD from the Advait Tantra School in New Zealand, however it’s origin is from Atisha.
In meditations we are often taught to breathe in light and love and to breathe out all the misery, pain and suffering, however, this meditation is actually the opposite. It is using the transformative power of the heart to transform pain and suffering. Love energy and the heart is the greatest transformational power in the universe and you are using this ultimate transformational power to transmute and transform…trusting the heart to do this.
The Practice……
Bring your awareness to your Heart Chakra. With each in-breath, breathe in all misery, pain and suffering you are feeling or that is there but locked away out of feeling range….just set your intention to breathe it into your heart.
With each out-breath, breathe out love and compassion. The suffering you breathe in is automatically transformed by the heart principle, and as you consciously breathe out love and compassion, you experience the benefit of this transformation both within and without.
Initially, you may want to breathe in only your own pain and suffering and breathe out love and compassion toward yourself. This is fine. When you feel cleansed of misery, start to breathe in the misery of the world around you.
Start by practicing this meditation for 20 minutes at a time. For best results, do it every day for 21 days. If you then wish to practice it for longer, do it daily for three months.

The second meditation is a beautiful heart meditation I found from Rahasya that is wonderful for going deep into the heart itself.
The Practice . . .
Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed, a place that feels good to you. Come sitting upright in a way that is comfortable and supported. Allow your body and breathing to relax completely. Just be with yourself.
In this meditation you will open the door to the illimitable you. Sitting upright, relaxed, bring all your attention to your heart center. Find your heart center by bringing your hands down the center of your body, a little distance from the physical body, until you find that place where your hand is responding to an energy, or perhaps your body is responding to your hand. That specific place that we normally touch when we are moved by something.
For a moment, just getting a sense of how the physical area in the heart center feels. Is it warm? Is it cool? Is it numb? Or is there perhaps a tension here? Just noticing without trying to change anything.
You may notice that just by bringing your awareness, your presence to the heart, something begins to shift. It is almost as if we are falling into a certain climate together. The climate of the heart.
As your hand rests here, it can feel the gentle up and down of your chest with the breath. You can imagine that the breath is like a light, touching the heart from the inside. Expanding on the in breath, relaxing on the out breath.
And your hand can actually reach deeper than the physical body, into the energy field that we call the climate of the heart.
Take a deep breath and when you breath in, you can expand the physical area of the heart and when you breath out you can imagine you are falling into a deep place. Take a deep breath and let go inside.
The climate here may be perceived as a vibration, perhaps as a subtle rhythm. You may see pictures, or colors or shapes. Or it may be simply a feeling sensation, or a knowing. You may notice that the climate in the room where you are is changing. More peaceful, a certain presence in the air, a relaxed alertness.
As you melt deeper into the heart, you may notice thoughts are more in the periphery. You can watch thoughts drifting like clouds, coming and going. No need to get attached to any thought, or to reject any thought. Just a silent watchfulness. Whatever the experience is in this moment, any sensation, any feeling, any image.
Again, take an inbreath, expanding this experiencing. With the out breath, fall deeper inside, falling into the unknown. Some of us may perceive this as a deep darkness, like the night sky. Or like a gentle light. Or simply as emptiness. As deep silence.
Sit in this silence for 10 to 15 minutes. Staying watchful. Alert. Present and open. Then let go of the practice, rest, and allow yourself to be.
The Integration . . .
What do you notice? How do you feel inside? What do you feel in the space around you? This practice is simple and extraordinarily powerful. To choose the heart and what we feel, rather than become victim to apparent suffering is an intense and rewarding practice.
